Template questions

We have a library of template questions to help save you time when creating your survey. The categories include the following:

  • Customer Feedback
  • Education
  • Events
  • Health and Wellness
  • Other
  • Pop Culture and Sports
  • Social and Political
  • Workplace
  • My Surveys*

* All the surveys you create can be used as template questions in other surveys.

To get to the template questions from the Survey List page:

  1. Select the green New Survey button either at the top of the page, the gray New Survey link at the bottom of the page or the Questions icon for a survey you have already created.
  2. When you get to the questions page, select New Question from Template at the bottom of the page.

Search template questions

If you don’t know where to begin looking, you can search the template questions using keywords of the questions you’re looking for, like birthday, party, or vote. Select the search input field at the top and enter the keyword.

The questions in the template library that correspond with the keyword appear in the preview section on the right.

Browse template questions

You can browse template questions by using the dropdown menu of categories under Browse.

Select a category from the dropdown, and the subcategories display. Select the checkbox next to the subcategories you want to view, and the questions in each display in the preview section on the right.

Preview template questions

  1. To preview template questions, choose a category from the dropdown menu of categories under Browse.
  2. Once you select a category, the subcategories display. Select the Checkbox next to the subcategories you want to view, and the questions display in the preview section on the right.
  3. To preview a specific question, select the Eye icon at the far right of the question. This opens the question preview over the current page.
  4. Close the preview by selecting the white X in the upper-right corner of the page.

Add template questions to your survey

  1. From the Survey List page, select the Questions icon for the survey you want to add a Template Question to.
  2. When you get to the questions page, select New Question from Template at the bottom of the page.
  3. To add template questions, choose a category from the dropdown menu of categories under Browse.
  4. Once you select a category, the subcategories display. Select the Checkbox next to the subcategories you want to view, and the questions display in the preview section on the right.
  5. To add a question, select the checkbox on the left side of the question you want to add.
  6. You can do this multiple times with any questions on the screen.
  7. Once you’ve selected all the questions you want to add, select Add Questions at the upper-right of the page.
