Making your first custom survey
- Select the green New Survey button either at the top of the page or the gray New Survey button in the middle of the page.
- A dialog opens where you need to enter a survey title in the first input field (required).
- For Email, choose Optional, Required, or None.
- If you’d like, enter a welcome message in Welcome Message. This message appears at the beginning of your survey for your participants.
- Select Save.
- On the next page, select New Question.
- This page is the question building page. On the left are all the options for your question. In the center of the page is the preview of your question.
- In Question Title, enter your question.
- If you want the question to be required, select Required.
- For Question Type, select a question type: Multiple Choice, Essay, Rating, Scale, Form, Scoring, Range, Date/Time, or Image Choice.
- Based on the question type you choose, the available options change. Enter any requirements or answers your question type needs.
- If you would like a subtitle to your question, select Advanced Options and, in Subtitle, enter the subtitle.
- Select Save Question above the Question Preview to save your question to your survey.
