Making your first survey from template questions
Don’t feel like writing your own questions? No problem. SurveyPlanet has many pre-written template questions you can use in your surveys. When you first sign in, you’ll be taken to the survey list. It will be empty until you create a survey.
- Select New Survey at the top of the page, or New Survey in the middle of the page.
- In Survey Title, enter a title for your survey (required).
- For Email, choose Optional, Required or None.
- If you’d like, enter a welcome message in Welcome Message. This message displays at the beginning of your survey for participants.
- Select Save.
- After saving, you’re redirected to the Question List page. Select New Question from Template.
- On the left, search for the type of question you’re looking for, or use the dropdown to choose a category.
- After you choose a category, subcategories populate below it. Choose a subcategory.
- Choosing a subcategory brings up all the questions associated with it in the center of the page.
- Select the Preview icon to preview the question.
- Select the questions you want to use by selecting the checkbox to the left of each question.
- Select Add Questions at the top right to add the questions to your survey. The template questions are added to the survey, and you’re redirected to the Question List page.
- To add more template questions, select New Question from Template and repeat from step 7 until you’ve added all the questions you need.
